Terms of Service for Manifesting Minimalism

By scheduling or receiving services from Manifesting Minimalism and Melissa Doerken, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Services Provided

Manifesting Minimalism provides consulting services related to decluttering, organizing, and space curation. Services may include, but are not limited to:

• Decluttering and space clearing

• Organizational planning

• Styling and curation of existing items

• Lifestyle and routine coaching

All services are tailored collaboratively and delivered in-person or virtually as agreed upon.

2. Client Responsibility

Clients are fully responsible for decisions regarding what items to keep, discard, or donate. Manifesting Minimalism will never remove or dispose of any items without the client’s explicit consent.

Clients are encouraged to make thoughtful, values-based decisions and are responsible for the final outcome of those decisions.

3. Health and Safety

The client is responsible for disclosing any potential hazards (e.g., mold, pests, fragile structures) prior to services. Manifesting Minimalism reserves the right to decline work in environments that may present unsafe or unsanitary conditions.

4. Limitation of Liability

Manifesting Minimalism is not liable for any damage to personal property, emotional distress, or perceived loss resulting from decluttering or space curation. Clients retain full control over what is kept or removed and are encouraged to consult with professionals (e.g., financial advisors, therapists) as needed.

You agree to release and hold harmless Manifesting Minimalism and Melissa Doerken from all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from services rendered.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice will not be refunded. Appointments may be rescheduled without penalty with more than 24-hour notice. Each appointment may be rescheduled once. Manifesting Minimalism reserves the right to charge for repeated late cancellations or no-shows.

6. Confidentiality

All client information, including the condition of their home and personal belongings, will be treated as strictly confidential and will never be shared without explicit consent.

7. Photos and Testimonials

With your consent, before/after photos may be taken for marketing purposes. No photos will be used publicly without written permission.

8. Payment and Refunds

Full payment is due at time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. All services are non-refundable once rendered.

9. No Guarantees

Results may vary. Manifesting Minimalism does not guarantee any specific outcome, level of satisfaction, or emotional result from the services provided.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

11. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Manifesting Minimalism, Melissa Doerken, and its owner, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to:

• The Client’s use of the services’

• The Client’s decisions regarding the removal or retention of personal items;

• Any personal injury, emotional distress, or property damage incurred during or after services;

• The Client’s violation of these Terms of Service or applicable laws.

This indemnity applies even if such claims arise out of negligence, mistakes, or omissions by Manifesting Minimalism, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
